Dressing gowns might not seem like the likeliest garments to make the headlines of showbiz columns around the world, but this week Rihanna and her friend, Melissa Forde, changed all that.
It’s quite possible that the singer had no idea about it, either, as Ms Forde tweeted a series of shots of her wearing nothing but a white towelling robe.
While the shots were being taken, Rihanna was texting on her phone, and seems to have been oblivious to the fact that her photograph was being taken.
Ms Forde has since deleted the shots from her Twitter account, but unsurprisingly, they had already been saved by showbiz reporters the world over.
As a result, white dressing gowns (and very little else) could find themselves in demand as the outfit of choice for RiRi’s fans everywhere.
